Brain Freeze

For the life of me, I could not come up with a title for these pictures! The clock is ticking, Grace should wake up from her nap soon and I still want a shower! Ahh!
Anyhow, here is a picture of us with David's mom, Debbie...aka "Granny" or "Nanny" depending on Grace's pronunciation. We had a wonderful week with her and Grace was spoiled and loved to pieces. The other picture is of our 'Little Mary' and one of Grace trying out the guitar with Mama.

The Joys of Christmas

Here are just a few shots of Grace decorating...more to come...I feel like a little kid again experiencing this through her eyes...everything is "Looooook!" and "Cuuuuute!" She is in love with Santa, snowmen, reindeer, candy canes, all things Christmas. The picture of her with the cup is her first cup of cocoa although she wasn't that impressed (silly child) She did have fun however dumping the whole bag of marshmallows onto the floor when we weren't looking.

Little Mommy in training

Changing diapers, cooking with the baby and combing the baby's hair, all in a snugli, and also checking herself out and making sure she is a pretty mama (very important to look good while we care for the little ones :)

Keepin' her wheels clean

Two 'Firsts'

Grace went through her first car wash and then saw her very first movie at the theaters!! We took her to see the Bee Movie and actually stayed for an hour...she got to eat popcorn (or cocorn as she calls it) and she thought the whole experience was pretty darn cool.

Ava Caspers

Our good friends Sally and Matt just had a baby girl and Grace is a little confused that the baby is no longer in Sally's belly but we were sooo lucky the other night and got to hold her. Even though Grace was more than two pounds lighter than Ava, I still don't remember her being that tiny! I wish June would hurry up and get here, because holding that darling little girl makes me long for another one!

Last minute snuggling the day before we left...

Brady and Grace

Grace and I flew in to see Jenny, Mike and Brady and had a blast last week...the kids had so much fun together, I haven't seen Grace laugh and smile that much for that long :) They do act like brother and sister, and bicker a little (Grace taught Brady her favorite word..."Mine!!!|" It was a magical week.

A couple more pool pictures and a bath shot...

We washed off B and G at the pool, got them in their jammies and brought them home all ready for bed...here's a bath shot from another night...we'll have to show them this when they're 20 :)

My witness tried her hardest, but we ended up in jail...

Jenny took us to a great little museum in Dayton, the Boonshoft Children's Museum and it was amazing, all the hands-on areas they had for the kids to explore...

More Musuem Pictures

They had the coolest little general store set up and Grace got to go grocery shopping...she also maneuvered a bull dozer, rode an apparently super wild horse (that expression!), and changed the tire on a small truck :) Dada, you'd be proud, she put the lug nuts on really well.

Photo Shoot

While in Ohio, we had Grace and Brady's pictures taken...although this particular picture of them is not a front-facing shot, we could not resist it...they were dancing and being silly together (what they do best) and I smile every time I see it...Grace also had some pictures of just her taken and one of her in her Christmas outfit (but you'll have to wait for that one, it'll show up to your houses in the form of a Christmas card :)

Family

Brothers Joe (with wife Ashley), Paul with girlfriend Jone, and Jeff (and yes, he always makes that silly face) It was great to see them all and to see Grace ham it up with her uncles...and a shot of me and Grace watching the horse next door...

Surprise!!!

Well my Mom's birthday was on Saturday and my Dad arranged for all of us kids (except for Dave, Mich and Jessica who are in Germany...we missed you!) to surprise my Mom...we met in a parking lot near their house and all drove in together, hid in the house and yeah...she was surprised :)

An Early Christmas Gift from Mimi and Pop-pop

My Mom couldn't resist the chance to see Grace open one of their gifts to her...and let me tell you, this little girl is in love with this new baby and all her accessories! There is a darling pink knitted blanket that my Mom made to go with it, and Grace and 'Baby' are currently sleeping together, both in their jammies, wrapped in their blankies...

Trick or Treat

She wasn't much of a fan of going up to the houses for candy but thought walking around in the street at night was the coolest thing. She sauntered around with her glow light and pumpkin bag (thanks Jenny!). It was a great evening but I realized my baby girl is not so much a baby anymore!
