Christmas morning...

Grace bustin' a move at Legoland :)

Happy Holidays Everyone!

There's LOTS of new pictures so keep on scrollin'! Hope the new year finds everyone healthy and happy, we're certainly feeling very blessed right now and looking forward to 2009!

A beautifully set table for Christmas and there's my child eating a lunchables on china :)

Ava and Grace

Grace took this picture! Not bad!

Must have been a good meal :)

Sprinkling reindeer food in the front yard so Santa would find his way to our house

Making treats for Santa and his reindeer...

Opening up a present from Santa on Christmas morning

A weekend in San Diego

So we're driving away from Vegas and on to California in the boring, brown, blah desert, and about 5 hours later we get to San Diego and see palm trees and beautiful blue water, sailboats, it was spectacular!

A very tired Grace...that's what you get for not taking a nap in the car on a 5 hour trip kiddo!

Legoland!!

In preparation for our day at Legoland, the night before in the hotel room, David and Grace built a helicopter out of legos that David got from Santa in his stocking :)
Legoland is AWESOME, highly recommend it for those of you with kiddos. Lots of kid friendly rides, amazing lego 'sites' and of course yummy food!

David and his lego family :)

Nice tall gentleman to welcome us into the park!

Airplane ride with Mommy! (Just like the dumbo ride at Disney)

Helicopter ride with Daddy...she's not scared, she couldn't reach the controls so David told her to pull down or up on his arm instead!

Look! Home sweet home :)

A great little spot to sit down and build some creations of your own!

They even built a statue of my Dad! Note all the cameras!!

Just a few (of many) incredible lego 'buildings'

A Volvo made out of Legos

David picking Lego Einstein's nose...

Oh so sneaky!!!

Well we all know Grace does not like to sit on Santa's lap and even a Santa made out of legos was no different. Well at the end of the day as she was sound asleep in the stroller David decided to place her on his lap for a quick picture! She was so out of it she had no idea...he told her as they were walking away that she just sat on Santa's lap and her eyes got really big!!

A day at Sea World

what an awesome place, they give free admission to military members and their families and they had a special tribute to 'us' at the beginning of the Shamu show, they had everyone in the audience stand and be applauded. It's very touching. There is so much to see here, between penguins, dolphins, clydesdale horses, whales, there's even a huge Elmo/sesame street section with fun rides, a huge climbing area and lots more. Totally recommend it!

Checking out the Beluga Whales

About to go into a 'pretend' polar bear den but they had growling bear noises and she was pretty tense!

Checking out the penguins...

THIS is what Sea World is all about...my FAVORITE part of the day, it was pure magic...I cried!

Thumbs up and high fives..."Let's do this Daddy!"
