Thank you baby girl for being you..

This may have to be an annual thing...such a delight, an overnight trip to the "city", just the girls...memories to last a lifetime! We saw "Tangled" first, then headed downtown.

We sat alongside this really cool water feature where she could throw pennies in and make a wish...

her wish "I hope that I will always love you and Daddy" I got all mushy right away and then thought, hmmmm...not a good sign if she feels the need to WISH that her love won't go away ;) aye aye aye those teenage years...coming faster than I'm ready for!

He made us tulips! Grace graciously gave both of them to two different waitresses and they loved it...

VMI 10 year reunion, October 2010

What a wonderful trip to Virginia...got to see some old friends that are like family to us, visit the campus which brought back so many wonderful memories (and sad, every time I dropped David off and had to drive 2 hours away from him, back home) slept in a hotel room and ate and slept whenever we wanted...it was heavenly. Thanks Mom for coming to stay with the kids so even our airplane ride felt like vacation!
