Watching her Brady...
Just had to capture this smile...she was sitting on the computer desk, watching a video of Brady from his website (usually part of our daily routine). It's so charming the way he evokes this smile and blush from her...

Backyard Play...
Since we were still recovering from a double ear infection, I haven't taken Grace to the playground alot lately so yesterday, to get her some fresh air, we played in the backyard. We filled her water table with different kinds of beans and she got to work mixing and brewing...she said she was making "coffee"...she got that from Brady who whipped up some fantastic batches of coffee in the tub while we were visiting. She played with the dog next door for a bit, held Dora in the swing and kept laughing and saying "Sorry, Dora" when she was swinging so high she bonked Dora's head on the patio roof. We woke up to temperatures in the high 20's this morning (no sympathy from those further East, I know) so I'm not sure if we'll make it oustide today! Off to Vegas this weekend to visit with our friends Emily and Christian and their baby Ellie and we're taking along our sponsoree and friend, Nancy, or "Nancy Pants" as Grace calls her...actually she just calls her Pants. Ok, is it obvious I'm procrastinating on going to the gym and cleaning house this morning?!

And, no, I didn't put the book there, she asked to read it so I ran to get the camera and after I snapped this picture she said she'd gone, and lo and behold the girl can pee in the potty!!!

Grace and Eliana
Our Junior Class is officially here and starting TPS and we as a class watched their children while they attended their orientation today. We had the pleasure of watching Eliana who's 2 1/2 and a doll...Grace seems to do well with older children, they played sooo nicely together!

McScruffy
David grew his beard over the school break...I liked it! As soon as he shaved it off though, Grace called him "Funny face". Here he is just back from a bike ride...
Who's the Boss Around Here?
So, clearly she runs the show...I was cooking dinner the other night and she very clearly told me to "Get down Mama...floor...go night night" How could I argue especially when I was brought a blankie and given her Dora doll?!
A little regression
So we've had to pull out every old "chewy" we owned from when Grace was a baby and teething...she's cutting her two year molars (it took over 2 months to cut just one!) But one down and three more to go...at any rate, if she doesn't have a chewy nearby, all four fingers are in her mouth constantly. Here's a picture of her with a chewy and sitting in her friend, Aislin's, bumbo chair.
