Decorating eggs Saturday night

All dressed up to join Granny Hoffman at church

The Hunt

Well, this lucky little girl got to find about 40 easter eggs all on her own, for some reason grown boys didn't want to join in the hunt. They, did, however have fun hiding them, some just a LITTLE too tall for Grace to reach :)

The funniest part of the whole thing was my brother Jeff, following behind her carrying a 'backup' basket, since she had so many eggs. I guess at one point, when he tried to suggest she add more to his basket (to lighten her load) she gave him this stern look, dropped down, dumped all the eggs out of his basket into hers and proceeded on, lugging this heavy bag with her. Soooo funny!

Visiting Meemee and Pop-pop in VA

After a loooong day of traveling, starting at 3:30 am, we made it to my parents' house in Virginia and have been relishing every moment since then. It is so nice to be with family and to watch Grace interact with them. I brought some of the lovely desert winds with me but today it was sunny, calm and BEAUTIFUL. Probably low 60's, perfect spring weather. 3 of my 4 brothers will be visiting this weekend for the holiday along with aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandmother so we are really excited for that. Here's a few pictures my Dad took of Grace today...

A walk in the desert...

We had to get out of the house yesterday so we went on a little walk in the desert near our house...you had to jump over this wall however to get there...a few weeks ago I did it (not sure how) but yesterday I was content to stand and watch David and Grace looking at some new desert blooms. The picture of her bending over in the street is an example of our little lady...she was SPITTING.

Grace at her friend, Aislin's birthday party...

For some irritating reason, it's not letting me upload the horse pictures but did this one just fine. Go figure.

Our 100 Day Party

Well I have a few more shots to include but the computer is being pesky and not letting me upload them right now and seeing as how it's 11:00, but really midnight with the time change, I'm giving up! Anyhow, i'll try again tomorrow. But basically we had a party tonight to celebrate the fact that we have less than 100 days left until graduation! The theme was country western and they had adorable stick horses for the kids, and hats, and even a real horse! Of course the pictures of Grace riding the horse are the ones that won't upload...grrrr.

You'll notice David's mustache...the whole class is calling this month, Mustache March and they're all growing one...for the fun of it...I hate it! But it did make for some authentic looking cowboys tonight!

Gracie and Daddy

Gracie and her horsey...giddy up!

Party's not complete without a little dancin'...

Hanging out with the boys...actually, more like just being the pesky little sister "Whatcha doing?"

The Gang

Here's most of the kids in our class (we missed you Gili!) and a cute shot of Grace in her hat...
