horrible picture, can't even see Thomas in it (in my lap) but we had a great picnic!
Sunday was a GORGEOUS day here so we went to our local museum...they have several historical homes/train station/etc that you can walk through and tour...Grace loves it.
Slumber Party!
We got to keep Ava a couple of days while her parents were having her adorable new baby brother, Noah. Grace loved having her here, loved sharing her room with her and has since cried at night that she misses having a sleepmate :(

The cake...dun dun dun....
Round 1 failed...miserably...picture cake all over the counter and on my floor...so the cute little idea of cutting a train out of a sheet cake and then icing it in all these different colors, yeaaah...not so much....SO...I remembered that great thing called fondant and how it really is made for people like me, I can ice my cake and then cover all the flaws with this gorgeous smooth icing...then I drew the train on top and voila!

Thomas and his awesome godparents, my brother Joe and his lovely wife Ashley!
We couldn't possibly love these two more...we asked them to be Thomas's godparents and they didn't even bat an eye, and it meant the world to us!
