Relaxing on the couch tonight...

Notice the bandaids on her knees, she took a pretty nasty fall in the street this afternoon...thanks for the dress Meemee and Pop-pop! She loves it, it was like wearing a nightgown, it was so comfy for her! And pretty too!

A little fun in the backyard...

Well we've been enjoying this warm weather and playing outside alot lately...I moved her playhouse over to the other patio so that she could see out of every window and now it's like a new toy. We had a picnic lunch under the tree and enjoyed some Mommy and Grace time, free of tantrums, time outs, and terrible two's behavior, even if it was only for 10 minutes :)

Uh oh, Bunny's in Time Out

Apparently Bunny was "hitting" while we were outside and had to sit in time out by the tree (I guess she agreed with me that it was a good place for a time out, since she served her time there as well that afternoon)
Notice she even gets down on his level and tells him why he was in time out!

Dora Underwear

So the strangest thing...if Grace is wearing a diaper or even a pull-up she tells me before she has to go to the bathroom, and all is well, we make it to the potty and stay dry. Once I put her in these big girl Dora panties, however, it was like she had no clue what to do and after two pair in an hour or so, we went back to the diapers. A little too soon I think.

1 month and 5 lbs down...3 more months and 15 more pounds to go!

My Baby turned 2

Despite a cold and fluid in her ear (no ear infection yet! Crossing fingers!) Grace had a wonderful birthday...her Brady Bear flew in to see her, what a present! Thanks to Meemee and Poppop, and Granny, for all the wonderful presents they spoiled her with! They were all a hit!! Thanks to all her friends for coming to her party and sharing in her special day, we're lucky to have you all in our lives. And thanks to Jenny, who had me in tears, again, on Grace's birthday...she made her a video collage of the past year to some beautiful, inspiring music (she did this for her first birthday and had the whole room in tears) You are an angel Jenny and I can't thank you enough for making them...(Mom and DAd and Debbie, they're on their way to you!!)

The Cake

Well it was my goal to make Grace a Dora cake for her birthday...the pan was in the shape of Dora and that came out okay but it was the darn icing that gave me trouble...as you can see, it didn't make it to the party and we picked up one at Albertson's on the way! The kids had Dora cupcakes (thanks Jenny!)

Chuck E Cheese's

We had the party at Chuck E Cheese's and most of Grace's friends were able to come...it was a bit overwhelming for her at times, but I think everyone had a great time!

The Zollars came to visit...

Mike was already in town for a TDY and Grace and I picked up Jenny and Brady at the airport last Thursday...Grace kept running through the airport saying "Brady's coming! Brady's coming!" Here's Mike playing with them and somehow squeezing between their car seats, and Grace and Brady all dressed up the morning of Grace's party...

Valentine's Day

Kind of late but I realized I hadn't posted this one...we took Grace out to dinner at the Club and Daddy brought home a red rose for me and a pink one for Grace...

It was so great to spend some time together,just the two of us...he was very patient with me as we took the Bunny Hill several times until I felt comfortable going up higher on the mountain. We had a blast!
