Touch a Truck 2011...a surprisingly COLD blustery day.

Oh buddy was this boy in heaven...a whole parking lot FULL of trucks and he was allowed to get IN THEM???

Doesn't seem that long ago that this girl would have run screaming instead of high-fiving!

Of course we HAD to sit on the school bus seeing as how our baby girl is going to ride one next year (if Mommy gets the courage to let her go)

One of the highlights for the kids was sitting in the back of an empty Uhaul truck.

Yep. That's right. An empty Uhaul truck. Sat their for a looooong time. I think in their short little military lives, they already feel at home in a moving truck.

Oh my, a Daddy, his son and a big ole truck...does it get any better than this?

David is testing out the lovely, LOUD horn...

Not sure when Thomas got his hearing back that day. Heck, come to think of it, I do believe he STILL hasn't gotten it back! Well I'll be...

Not quite sure what Captain Jack Sparrow and trucks have in common but here he was...did a pretty good impression of him I have to say.

Clearly, Thomas LOVED him.

I had nothing to do with the making of this balloon...apparently it was a sword.

Sometimes Dads just do things a little differently...

and those times, just the kids and David together, are pretty perfect. Never ceases to amaze me the tricks he pulls out. Something as simple as laying a blanket down in the back of the truck with some treats and some toys and the kids thought it was awesome.
Our babes are so lucky to have you as their Dad, David and not a day goes by where we aren't so very thankful for you. xoxo.
