Ahh the men in my life, I love them so

Goin' for a ride!

It's no wonder I'm always saying "careful Grace!"

Few weeks back...

This was taken a few weeks ago, when David and Grace were in Ohio...

took advantage of the free time and laid down with him on the bed to take a nap, then I got to sneak away ;) Gotta love it when they stay in one place!

This one cracks me up too, should clarify it's from over a year ago...

Amazing what happens in a year...found this from last October!

New favorite shot of my girl (playing dress up in Mommy's closet)

And my new favorite shot of my guy...read his outfit...isn't that the perfect expression to go along with the words?!

He's not a big fan of tummy time and is sooo lazy about holding his head up, he'd rather suck on his fist

I think it's a little too early for that you two...

Sleepy boy...had to wake him up the other morning from his nap, he was pushing 3 hours and I knew he'd make up for it at night if I didn't wake him!

Our annual hike on Mt. Charleston for Veterans Day (ok, only our 2nd year doing it but it's becoming a tradition!)

We end the day with a free dinner (for Daddy) at Applebee's

Mr. Dave is coming!

Upon hearing this Grace made a mad dash to her basket with bows and brushes and all things girly and proceeded to look pretty for Mr. Dave (she has a crush on him, has known him and his lovely wife Beth since she was a baby and was thrilled to hear that he and Daddy and Mr. Matt were going out last Friday night for some guy time.

Good ole family movie night...lots of stuffing our faces with popcorn, sprite and then just putting our feet up and lounging :)

We watched the new Pixar film, UP...loved it :)

Who would have thought a cartoon would bring us to tears?

Mommy made the mistake of being honest with Grace when she asked where did the old lady go? "Well, she died honey.." "Why???" "Because she got old"...this explanation took place 15 min's into the movie, must have taken the whole movie to sink in and afterwards we find her in tears on the couch..."Grace, what's wrong?!" "I don't want to get old and die! When am I going to be alive???!!" Sobbing...we fixed it by assuring her it was all pretend (which was the truth, now wasn't it?)

Another sensitive Hoffman baby

So those of you who knew Grace as a baby (Jenny) knew that if she got overtired or overstimulated she would MELT down, so much so that we left parties (errr, ah, again, Jenny) Thomas in the last week has had several meltdowns with no other explanation other than I think he's tired or had too much stimulation...like cooing and talking one minute and screaming the next...the next two videos illustrate this...

This happens A LOT "Mommy, can I hold Thomas?" Then..."Do you want to take a picture?" lol...

A shot of the wounded Grace and some comforting from Dad

If you didn't catch the video on the previous page, she got in a fight with a tree and the tree won...Daddy will duck much lower next time he has her on his shoulders and walks under a tree!!!

Here's David's headshot...

My little stud muffin

My new Ergo Baby Carrier

Sooo much easier to get on by myself than the Snugli and it's softer all around...Jenny was gracious enough to loan me the insert to make it extra snuggly around his head...can't wait till he's big enough to turn the other way around!

God bless the USO, United Service Organizations

Long story short, their flight out of Denver had mechanical failure so I spent an hour on the phone and got them a direct flight to Dayton, however it didn't leave until that evening...they spent most of the day in the Denver airport but thankfully it has one of the nicest USO's I've seen...they have an area set up for military members and their families to rest, eat, watch TV, sleep while they wait for their flights and this one has a great toy selection which kept Grace happily occupied!

Yummy treats at the USO

David said she was having a pouty moment...noooo, MY Grace, having a moment?
