We're here!

We managed to pack up the old house, clean it to pass inspection, drive to NV (I know, no sympathy from our dear friends driving all the way to Florida!) unload the truck and return that darn thing (good riddance, let's just say it's the first time I've ever been thrown out of a grown man's office...long story, we just had a hiccup in renting the Penske truck, but seriously what would a Hoffman move be like without some sort of complication??) We are here, however, and slowly getting unpacked...David has some time off so we're enjoying that after the long year that was TPS...we'll be building a shed and a patio for the backyard soon...hard to get much done outside though when it's 112 degrees during the day and 100 at night...miss you all!

Since he didn't get his 3 car garage, David is finding ways to make some more space in the somewhat small garage we have now...he built this yesterday and we hung them last night...we have one more to build today and that ought to free up alot more space...Grace had fun playing on it this morning...

It'll be awhile before I post any more pictures or updates, we start packing today and load the truck on Friday...head to Vegas on Monday. We'll send all our new info as we get it....miss and love you all!

Mini vacation after graduation

My mom graciously stayed a week after graduation so David and I could get away for a few days...we drove up to San Francisco for two days and then hit Carmel on the back home for a day. Despite fever, vomiting and the worst stomach pains of my life, it was nice to have that time together, especially after the long, hard year that is TPS.

Congratulations my love...

After a LONG and hard year, for both David and I, David graduated from Test Pilot School on Saturday, June 7th with a second master's degree.
I've never been more proud of you David!
